| I'm hoping that there's some folks who've been in the Poserverse as long as I have but might have seen these items. I've been browsing Deviant Art for the past few days and stumbled into...ok...I was looking for this stuff...some old Poser(?) items with a magicians show flair. The items are a spin on the sword box illusion and the spike table. I've put images in this zip file... https://mega.nz/file....RJ33des I've been using Poser-Studio since they started and have bought everything along this line, I just love this sorta campy stuff. However, I've never seen anything like these fun little toys. I asked in each of the several individual blogs they appeared in but doubt I'll get an answer. I can't see these having been made by anyone in DA because they appeared in several different blogs AND it's easy to see that these are old; Poser 4 old....maybe Posette or Vicky 3 old. I just finished going through any of the vendors in R'Otica who make this kind of stuff but drew a blank. DirtierEddy is long gone and he was the obvious choice. I'm banned from Stupid'Otica (my stupid big mouth) so asking there is out, and their search is crap. I'm thinking that these came from some site or artist who's no longer selling and the site is long dead. Do the pictures pique anyone's memory? Thanks for trying. Additional....I heard back from one of the persons on DA this morning and he said that the sword box was made and sold by someone on DA who was banned a long time ago. I'm hoping he can come up with a name since artists usually pop up again 'somewhere' under a similar name. It would be a shame for a fun toy like this to fade away and be forgotten.

| I bought a NAS a few years ago and like a good boy, archived my content, my porn, my massive Playboy collection and 9most importantly) my massive collection of scans from vintage magazines. A few years later the NAS's controller died. Right now I've got software trying to recover it all with the drives connected to an expansion card. It's been going for five days now and is ~80% finished so I'm hopeful. THe stuff I REALLY can't afford to lose is the scan collection. I've spent hundreds of hours scanning and I was lucky enough that I also have it all on my two computers AND a portable hard drive. I've been reading 'data hoarders' on Reddit and the consensus there is to NOT get fancy and trust any one technology or site. A NAS gives you one extra avenue of failure, the controller. I've just ordered a docking station on the recommendation of folks on Reddit ( https://sabrent.com/collections/docking-station/products/ds-sc4b ). These have an excellent reputation and are simple and inexpensive. I'll duplicate my data between pairs of drives AND keep stuff also on portable drives AND in my two computers.

| Ohh boy ... This can be a real nightmare. I meanwhile make backups about every year but then I just buy a new drive, do not format an previous drive to update the backups I had a really bad experience with multiple usage of backup drives, due the large amount of data and small files it just damaged the clusters, this way I lost quiet a few drives.
Using an old smaller drive for the first saves, a drive where I load and delete the stuff permanently, if its good I copy on the final drive where it will remain. Ok you have with time more and more drives , they also getting also larger every year. Started with 30gb Hdd for backups and now the last one is 20tb the one before 18 then 16, 12, 10 and so on it goes LOL
btw .. your Images on Mega are not downloadable .... wanted to have a look
